Gregg Cavaliere, M.D.
Since joining the practice 23 years ago, Dr. Cavaliere has focused on sports medicine, with particular emphasis on the knee and shoulder. After completing his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital as well as a Sports Medicine Fellowship at New York University, he introduced many new techniques to Westchester through Hudson Valley Bone & Joint Surgeons.
Pioneering minimally invasive knee ligament surgery, and together with Dr. Maddalo perfecting the exacting techniques of closed arthroscopic shoulder cuff repairs and stabilizations have earned him wide acclaim. He is frequently named in the “Best Doctors in New York” by New York Magazine and serves as Chief of Orthopedics at Phelps Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cavaliere has had extensive experience in the care of athletes of all ages and levels, from amateur and recreational, to elite college and professionals in hockey, soccer and football to name a few. He served four years as the New York
Islanders Orthopedic consultant and similarly for World Cup Soccer in 1994. Currently, he attends to the members of the Westchester Flames Professional Soccer Team, Manhattan College, College of New Rochelle, and Mt. St. Vincent College Student Athletes.
